TOEFL iBT Preparation course is designed to prepare students to achieve success on the TOEFL iBT test through instruction and guided practice. It aims at improving students’ ability to integrate the skills of reading, listening, speaking, and writing in English as required for the TOEFL iBT test. Students will learn to recognize the types of questions on the test and to develop skills and strategies to answer them; this also involves an integrated approach to reading, listening, speaking, and writing tasks specific to an academic context. The necessary skill sets include note taking, paraphrasing, summarizing, and synthesizing of spoken and written information.
