About This Training
The “ESG Management, Risk and Reporting in the Financial and Banking Sector” training is designed to provide participants with practical knowledge of ESG risks, due diligence, ESG integration into banking processes, and sustainability reporting. The course covers GRI Standards, IFRS/ISSB sustainability disclosure standards, and the alignment of ESG reporting with corporate strategy.
Course Objectives
- Understand ESG from a financial and banking risk perspective,
- Identify and assess ESG risks at customer and portfolio levels,
- Apply ESG screening and due diligence in banking processes,
- Understand financial and impact materiality,
- Apply GRI Standards to ESG disclosure and materiality assessment,
- Understand and apply IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 sustainability disclosure standards,
- Develop an integrated GRI–IFRS ESG disclosure approach,
- Support internal ESG management and reporting processes.

- Understand ESG risks as financial risks,
- Conduct ESG screening and ESG due diligence,
- Assess materiality in accordance with GRI requirements,
- Understand the application of IFRS S1 and IFRS S2,

Nzhdeh Andriazyan
Nzhdeh Andriazyan is a QHSE, renewable energy, and energy efficiency expert with more than 14 years of experience, as well as an auditor with more than 7 years of experience. He has worked on projects supported by international donors and institutions, including USAID, KfW, GIZ, EBRD, EIB, the EU, and the World Bank.
He currently serves as Sustainable Energy Practice Lead at ESF Armenia.
